Ever wondered what to do with leftover printer cartridges? Probably not, like most people, you probably just disposed of them and went about your day. Well, I bet you never thought of turning them into a chandelier! But, apparently one crafty Etsy seller has!
Check out Boxlightbox’s Etsy store to see all their fun cartridge lamps and chandeliers ranging from $35 to $100.

Every year around this time the Etsy users really kick their work into high gear hoping to lure holiday buyers with unique gift ideas. While sadly many of them are something that no one would want to unwrap (you can see some of these tragedies at Regretsy) there are some wonderful gems like the one below.
Pacman Ring Series
This sterling silver and black onyx set of 4 rings is a classy way to show off your love of the pixely little pellet muncher. Unfortunately the seller is all sold out of this set, but maybe if we all write letters to Santa she’ll make some more in time for Christmas.

Its not often I find reason to shell out $600 for a sweater, but if I had some spare change right now I would definitely drop it on this amazing hand knit (thats the key here) sweater from etsy seller elf518.
Robot Pixel Mash-up Fair Isle Sweater
This awesome sweater is hand made tailored to your measurements, color choices and each one has a slightly unique pattern.
“the floral motif in this sweater is taken from a german lace chart published in 1597”
Of course that old German lace chart has been given a hip modern twist with robots and other pixely goodness. $600 may seem like a steep price but when you consider that each sweater is handmade without a machine, unique and takes 8 weeks to make…well, $600 doesnt seem all that outrageous.
i totes know what i am getting ms. seanalyn for Christmas this year!!! (hopefully she doesn’t read my post! :) this adorable handmade ipod/ipod shuffle/iphone case made by Antjes on Etsy.com:
it’s super cute and just the thing for those extra special bacon fanatics! $35 for the iphone/ipod and $19 for the ipod shuffle case, these are a perfect out-of-the-box gift!

I usually don’t blog about clothing and fashion (even though thats my biggest passion next to domestic geekery) unless it has some sort of DIY domestic tie in. But I just cant not blog about these amazing handmade geek corsets for sale by one super talented seller on Etsy called The Vintage Doctor.
All the items are hand made from vintage fabric and fully boned, custom made for your order. The corsets cost around $130 and the dress retails at $175. Its a bit pricey for a corset, but I am seriously considering the Mario or Batman one because they are just beyond cute and geeky.
