OK Bravo lighten up on the Photoshop!

So I know I dont normally discuss reality TV and advertising (which is another passion of mine) but since its Top Chef I felt it figured into the whole domestic geekery spectrum.

Well today I was trolling the net and I saw a right rail ad for the upcoming season of Top Chef!

Cool huh? But I kept thinking “why does this look so bizarre?” and then it hit me, whoever photoshopped this decided that apparently Padma needed to not only have a ridiculously tiny disproportionate waist but also to smooth out every lump and bit of texture until she looked like a cheap paper doll.

Not cool Bravo, not cool. Take note this is sexy…

Whatever you did in that ad…that is not sexy. Leave my gorgeous sexy Padma alone, she doesnt need your airbrushing! She just needs a strong beef and a good burger!

Thats all, sorry just had to rant about that for a second since I adore Top Chef and Padma.

Dunno who she is, but she’s gorgeous! And way more so in that last photo.

Shes a TV host on a cooking reality show, shes written some cookbooks and hosted her own cooking and travel shows. Padma is totally awesome and gorgeous so I dont know why they did that to her…it looks so flat and fake!

yeah… If you take a close look, a LOT of media has that fault… they PS out the little pooch bellies cause THEY think its not sexy… they modify faces (and occasionally shift eyes, shrink noses, smush lips… and ruin images on an almost constant bases…

    sad….
